Amazon FBA apparel fees 2026
Clothing pays its own fulfillment rate card, its own referral fee ladder and a returns fee on every returned unit. Here are all three.
How apparel differs
- Higher standard-size fulfillment fees than the non-apparel card: a 7 oz small standard shirt in the $10–$50 band is $3.69 vs $3.54.
- Over 3 lb, large standard apparel adds $0.16 per half-pound instead of $0.08 per 4 oz.
- Bulky and extra-large apparel use the same rates as everything else.
- Referral fee for Clothing and Accessories is 5% up to $15, 10% from $15 to $20 and 17% above $20, on the whole price.
- Returns processing is charged on every returned unit, not only above a threshold.
Worked example
A T-shirt packed at 10 × 8 × 1 in and 6 oz, sold for $19.99: large standard, billed on 9.2 oz. Fulfillment is $4.72 on the apparel card, $4.89 with the surcharge. The referral fee is 10% ($2.00) because the price is between $15 and $20; at $20.01 it would be 17% of the whole price.

Holiday peak
From October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027 apparel pays peak rates. The published first row (small standard, 2 oz or less) is $2.85 / $3.74 / $4.00 across the three price bands, $0.23 above non-peak. Amazon hasn't published the other apparel peak rows outside Seller Central, so the calculator estimates them with the standard increment and labels them.
