What this calculator does differently

  • It works out the size tier from your box

Enter dimensions and weight; it sorts the sides, applies the 139 dimensional-weight divisor, the 2-inch minimum for bulky items and the 130-inch length-plus-girth limit, then tells you which weight Amazon bills on. Many free calculators ask you to type the fulfillment fee yourself.

  • It uses the fee that applies on your ship date

The January 15, 2026 rate card, the 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge from April 17, and holiday peak rates from October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027. Change the date to see what the same unit costs in February.

  • It shows where each number comes from

Every Amazon line is tagged as a published rate or a value we derived, with the rule. Peak fees are derived from Amazon's statement that the increment matches last year, and the derivation reproduces every 2026 peak figure we could find.

  • It looks for fee cliffs

Half an ounce over a weight band, a box 0.05 inches too thick for small standard, a price of $10.49 instead of $9.99: the calculator re-runs the numbers and tells you what the change is worth per unit.

Questions sellers ask

How is the FBA fulfillment fee calculated in 2026?

Amazon assigns a size tier from the packaged dimensions and weight, picks the shipping-weight row, then the price band: under $10, $10 to $50, or over $50. Small standard units bill on unit weight; everything larger bills on the greater of unit weight and dimensional weight (length × width × height ÷ 139). Since April 17, 2026 a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge is added to the fulfillment fee. The full rate card is on its own page.

Does the 3.5% surcharge apply to referral fees?

No. It applies to the FBA fulfillment fee, including holiday peak fees, and to Multi-Channel Fulfillment and Buy with Prime. Referral, storage and placement fees are unaffected. Amazon has not given an end date.

Why does my fee change at $10 and $50?

The 2026 rate card has three price bands. Below $10, Low-Price FBA rates are about $0.86 lower per unit; above $50, standard-size fees are $0.26 higher than the $10–$50 band. The calculator flags prices just above these lines when a lower price would net more.

How accurate is it compared with Amazon's Revenue Calculator?

For standard and bulky non-apparel items the fulfillment fees match Amazon's published examples to the cent (see the test list). Amazon's own calculator reads the measured dimensions Amazon has on file for a listed ASIN, which this site can't see. Use it to double-check a specific listing; use this one to model products that aren't listed yet. We compare the two in this guide.

What isn't included?

  • Overmax handling fee amount (reported as $17–$25 per unit; we warn instead of adding it)
  • Storage-utilization surcharge (depends on your whole account, not one product)
  • Inbound defect fees and liquidation fees
  • New Selection program referral credits and other incentives
  • Dangerous-goods storage rates (hazmat storage costs more per cubic foot than standard)
  • Remote Fulfillment to Canada, Mexico and Brazil
