Launch incentives

Questions sellers ask
Is FBA really free in South Africa right now?
Pick-and-pack and storage are waived until 31 March 2027 for every category except apparel, and the referral fee is a flat 5%. You still pay for inbound shipping (90% off to 31 December 2026).
What happens after March 2027?
Standard fees return: the fulfilment table on this page, R36 per cubic metre of storage and the category referral rates with a R10 minimum. Change the ship date to model it.
Does Amazon.co.za use dimensional weight?
Amazon describes the table as based on dimensional weight but does not print the divisor; we use the greater of unit weight and L × W × H ÷ 5,000.
How accurate is this?
The fee rows come straight from Amazon's South Africa pricing page; the dimensional divisor is the one assumption, labelled on the page.
